Hailing from the western suburbs of Melbourne, Shristy is a talented musical world-builder known for her emotive lyrics and sensual, smooth vocals. A certified triple threat as a producer, singer-songwriter and dancer, Shristy is influenced by a musical spectrum that spans from 1970s Indian cinema to the icons of 2000s pop and R&B, as well as experimental electro-pop subgenres.

"Summer Solstice", a collection of introspective tracks infused with summer vibes, offers a glimpse into Shristy's heart searching during the heat and freedom of the summertime.

The EP serves as a personal reflection of change across lazy, delicious summer breaks from work. Tracks like "For the Love," "Found My Way," and "Travellers" offer snapshots of Shristy’s mindset during past summers, showcasing her ebbs, flows and growth as both an individual and an artist.

“When coming up with the production of the tracks, I wanted to create a song that reflected each mood shift that happens throughout the day and this is reflected in the tracklist order. Ultimately this is where the name ‘Summer Solstice’ came from. My Objective with this EP was really to create music for those “middle moments.”
