Dresden based Australian producer CACTUS FACE releases his first single ‘THOSE HOT SUMMER NIGHTS’, a sweltering cinematic love story and homage to the city that never sleeps.

Dive into a world of mesmerising beats and cinematic vibes with Dresden-based composer Michael Mortlock's latest project. After years of soaking up inspiration and dreams, Cactus Face emerges, blending downtempo, trip-hop rhythms with a hazy, cinematic twist. Inspired by the likes of Bonobo, Flying Lotus, and DJ Shadow, get ready for a sonic journey like no other. “Those Hot Summer Nights” is just the entrée. Coming soon – the main course and maybe even some dessert. While Mortlock created all the ingredients, the final mastering was deftly done by collaborator Emanuel ‘Emu’ Uch – also based in Dresden.
